“Zīds” is a restaurant located in the Embassy of Latgale GORS. The name and concept of the restaurant intertwine the softness of silk fabric, symbolically referring to the bird name “Waxwing” (Latvian: “Zīdaste”) given to the concert hall project, as well as the blooming of Latgalian silk (Latvian: “zieds” – flower). The restaurant is a place not only to enjoy the pleasures of food on both everyday and festive occasions but also to admire the view of Rēzekne and to use it as a space to work, create, spend leisurely afternoons, meet with friends, and await cultural events in the evenings. The restaurant “Zīds” provides individual and group catering on a daily basis, during celebrations, as well as service for seminars and banquets held at the Embassy of Latgale GORS.
