Discover the world of coffee with KUUP!

The Kuup coffee roastery masterclass is an exciting and educational experience for anyone who wants to understand the journey of coffee from bean to cup. In the masterclass, you will learn how each step – from growing and processing to roasting and brewing – affects the taste and quality of coffee. By participating in the masterclass, you will not only gain new knowledge, but also the opportunity to enjoy KUUP coffee from different regions and practically experience the coffee roasting process.

What will you experience in the masterclass?

• You will learn the story of Latgale coffee – how coffee beans travel from coffee-growing countries to Latgale, which is a “specialty” coffee;
• You will learn about the roasting process and its impact on the taste;
• You will taste KUUP coffees from two different regions, comparing their taste nuances;
• You will see the roasting process right here at the “Kuup” roastery;
• ⁠You will learn practical tips and little tricks on how to achieve excellent taste at home – how to choose the grinding degree for each method, how important water temperature and quality are.

What is included?

Professionally led master class for groups of 5 to 40 people. Coffee tasting with various roasting examples;

Participation fee – 15 eur/person, children (7-18 years) 7 eur/person

Next to the coffee roastery KUUP is Kabata – a design shop and creative space at the same time. Here you can purchase things created by local designers and craftsmen, as well as indulge in thoughts, work and creativity.
