On June 7, 2026, Latgale Embassy GORS will host the 35th anniversary concert of the Igauņi Family Capella, “Tu munā sirsneņā” – a heartfelt musical gathering with the family from Gaigalava and their friends.

The Igauņi Family Capella consists of five musicians from two generations – Rasma and Gunārs Igauņi, together with their daughters Liene, Marta, and Laima. They continue the traditions of Latgalian folk music, songs, and original compositions. The anniversary concert will feature folk song arrangements and beloved repertoire, as well as the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the group “Muosys”. The concert will also include performances by the dance ensembles “Vadži” and “Dziga”, with whom the capella has long-standing collaboration.

The musical programme reflects Latvian and Latgalian traditions, roots, and a strong sense of togetherness.
