“Don Quixote” is one of the most popular classical ballets in the world. Temperamental and bright, it is filled with beautiful Spanish dances and creates a special holiday cheer. Created more than 150 years ago, it has become synonymous with the highest level of classical ballet. The plot is based on the events of the immortal novel of the same name by Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, with the addition of a love line.

The ballet “Don Quixote”, filled with bright colors, scenography and thoughtful choreography, will be presented to the Latvian audience by the Bulgarian ballet troupe “Sofia Festival Ballet”, which has been delighting audiences all over the world for many years with its skill. The dance team includes outstanding dancers from the national opera and ballet theaters of Bulgaria, Norway, Macedonia, Romania and other countries. “Sofia Festival Ballet” is a classical ballet troupe whose repertoire includes such productions as: “The Nutcracker”, “The Enchanted Princess”, “Gisele” and others.
