As Rezekne celebrates its 741st anniversary, residents and visitors are invited to take part in the exciting virtual orienteering game “Paths That Bring Us Together.” The game will take place from July 1 to August 1, offering everyone a unique opportunity to explore the city’s history, discover its popular meeting places, and compete for fantastic prizes.

The virtual route leads participants through the entire city centre – from the historic Castle Hill to Rezekne II Railway Station. Along the way, players will visit the city’s popular pedestrian promenade and the cultural landmark of the region – Latgale Embassy GORS. The game includes 31 challenges that test participants’ knowledge of Rezekne while encouraging teamwork through a variety of interactive tasks.

As the route is quite extensive, participants are encouraged to prepare for a longer walk or complete the adventure by bicycle.

✅ Scan the game’s starting QR code located at the entrance to the Tourism Information Centre;
✅ Register your team and provide your contact information;
✅ Follow the game instructions and enjoy the adventure!

Great prizes for the most active teams

A prize draw will take place on August 1. All teams that successfully complete the game and score at least 1,500 points will be entered into the draw.
